In 2012-07-13 Elinta hosted the former President of Costa Rica (1994-1998), businessman, politician and public figure José María Figueres. The current President of the organization Carbon War Room, founded by Richard Branson which aim is to fight against the climate change, and the member of United Nations Secretary-General’s Advisory Group on Energy and Climate Change, José María Figueres was presented with Elinta company’s activities. The President was mostly interested in the electric vehicles’ project and discussed the possibilities to introduce vehicles to Costa Rica’s market.
