The second year of the project implementation

TMT activities implementation stage was completed during the second year of the project implementation. Studies on imaging processing by computational tomograph and formation of spatial models from these imaging methods, and programing tools were performed, algorithms to identify countour charactistcs and their point clouds were developed. Characteristics of different 3D printers for dental impression registration, jaws analogues formation were examined and their real technical possibilities were identified. 

        On the basis of the results, recommendations on programing and tooling for the production of jaws models to be used in subperiosteal implantation were prepared.

          Studies of methods and programming tools for spatial computer model segmentation by polynomial function, splines and spatial primitives were performed. Algorithms and software tools for the assessment and analysis of teeth and dental arches geometrical parameters were developed.
